The Czech Republic offers numerous tourist destinations. Many of them link up with the European trail network of EUROVELO. The first route that has opened was the one connecting Prague and Vienna. Moravian long-distance trail follows the Polish trails in the foothills of the Jeseníky Mountains and continues along the stream of the river Morava as far as the Austrian border. Near Valtice it connects the Austrian cyclist trail leading to Vienna.
Cyclist routes also lead along both the sides of the Czech-Austrian border. Other long-distance trails run around the Lipno Lake and take up with the cyclist artery passing through Šumava. The Jizerské hory have plenty of trails as well.
