The full day course normally runs on Saturday's commencing at 8.00am.

The Static Line Solo 1st Jump Course is a minimum of 6 hours training by a BPA approved Parachute Instructor, which includes:

.Drop zone orientation
.Parachute Equipment
.The stable parachuting body position
.Aircraft and exiting techniques and aircraft emergency drills
.Parachute canopy control and flight drills
.Parachute malfunction recognition, emergency drills, harness drills
.Abnormal and regular landing techniques
.A knowledge review test

.1st parachute jump and briefing

Modern advances in Parachute design mean that it is now possible to jump a ram-air "square" canopy on your first jump. The square canopy design features a wing that opens at the front. This gives you a manoeuvrable wing, just like those jumped by the experienced skydivers. The advanced canopy design can provide a tiptoe soft landing not like the old days where you jumped a round static line parachute from 2000 feet and landed on your backside. You will leave the aircraft from around 3,200 feet and the ram-air canopy is activated automatically by a static line. Now test your judgment in guiding the wing to the correct landing area before trying your hand at landing like an expert.

Tandem Skydiving

An exhilarating freefall skydive from 13,000 feet with one of our highly experienced tandem instructors, who will be doing all the hard work for you. After we’ve welcomed you to the UK’s top Drop Zone, you will meet your tandem instructor who will brief you on the equipment and safety procedures for your jump. After that it’s time to put on your jumpsuit and make your way to our fast turbine aircraft.
At 13,000 feet, you can watch the experienced skydivers jump, then it’s your turn! You will freefall with your instructor for 8,000 feet. On opening, another 5000 feet of gentle parachute ride awaits you.

There is a cafeteria, which sells hot and cold food & drinks throughout the day, with seating indoors and out.
