Sintra Natural Park, classified as UNESCO World Heritage site, is one of the most beautiful parks in the Lisbon area, with its maritime coast and the majestic and romantic Sintra Hills. It used to be the King's of Portugal summer residence.

The tour starts in the bucolic and charming region of Mafra where we will ride towards the coast.
Then we will visit "Cabo da Roca", the westernmost cape in continental Europe - "where the land ends and the sea begins" as said the most famous Portuguese poet Luis de Camoes.
The highlight of this Bike Tour, however, is the visit to the great and majestic Sintra Hills - a UNESCO World Heritage site - once the summer residence of kings and queens, earls and barons and the Portuguese bourgeoisie. Sintra and its area if full of Palaces, the most famous being the National Palace in the centre of the village and the Pena Palace up on the hill, a very romantic one they say Neuschwanstein Castle built 30 years later in Bavaria by King Ludwig II, was one of his insight.
But Sintra also offers a fantastic lush forest hiding the most beautiful natural spots giving to this area a mystical spell and turning it into an enchanting and majestic place. The tour ends with a ride along the Cascais and Estoril coast to Lisbon where you will be able to admire some landmarks of Lisbon.
